What is GreenSearch®?
GreenSearch® is the premier executive search, human resource consulting and Web-based job posting organization dedicated exclusively to meeting the employment-related needs of companies and organizations in the green industry and allied trades nationwide.

Our executive search services deal primarily with assisting our client companies with locating excellent candidates for their difficult to fill mid to senior level management, professional and sales positions as well as consulting with our client companies on unique ways to improve their company's performance through smarter utilization of people and total rewards strategies.

Our Web-based job posting service called GreenMatchMaker.com efficiently and confidentially matches job seekers and employers who seek supervisory, lower management, customer service, sales, technical and other specialized employees.

What level of positions do you target for your Executive and professional searches?
Typically, we place senior level management, professional and sales candidates in all segments of the green industry. Our executive search services are targeted toward those candidates whose annual compensation packages usually exceed $75,000.

What are your specialties?
We are a generalist firm, that is, we strive to completely understand our client's business so that we can recruit and perform consulting services across all disciplines throughout the green industry and allied trades.

Do you represent the candidate or the hiring company?
The company or firm that hires candidates that are sourced, recruited and submitted by GreenSearch® pays us. Our client is, accordingly, the hiring company or firm. However, candidates who present themselves to GreenSearch® represent the primary component of the executive search services we provide. Therefore, we value our relationships with both our clients and candidates.

Are you a "retained" or "contingency" firm? How are your fees structured?
Our main focus and priority is retainer-based assignments. That is, we are paid some portion of the fee to begin the assignment and the remainder upon completion. We will accept contingency assignments when they fit our business plan, are in the best interest of our clients, and represent the best use of our services.

Whether or not you have a resume prepared, all candidates/job seekers are asked to complete a GreenSearch® Online Application, ensuring that all information requested is provided. In addition to the Online Application, if you have an updated resume, please forward a copy to GreenSearch® via e-mail. If you have submitted a resume and/or other information to GreenSearch®, we will contact you only if we determine that your background and experience appears to line up with one of our client job opportunities, and if we believe a possible "fit" or "match" exists between your background and our client job opportunity.

How do you maintain candidate confidentiality?
All of our client and candidate information is held in strict confidence. Unlike many other firms or agencies, GreenSearch® never submits any resumes or other candidate information to a client without first discussing the opportunity with the candidate, and agreeing on the next step.
